As the first Marketing Director of easyJet, Tony Anderson helped launch what has become one of Europe’s best known and most successful brands. Nowadays, he is equally well known as a professional business speaker on branding and marketing issues, with a list of clients that includes DHL, Microsoft, BT and Yahoo. He has also regularly been a guest lecturer at a number of top universities, including Cambridge University and Imperial College London. Furthermore, Tony's formidable skills as a business speaker have resulted in his appearing as a commentator on The Apprentice (BBC1) and Radio 4's Profile series.
Tony's business acumen and experience as Marketing Director for the easyGroup helped take the easy brand from jet travel into new business areas, such as car rental and to a chain of giant internet cafes. Tony has also held positions in other companies, including directorships at online bank Egg, the education services company Bell, TNS, TIH Mutual and The Children's Mutual. He has represented these organisations in news items with media organisations including BBC Television News, Channel 4 News, CNBC and CNN. He has also participated in radio debates.
In 2011, Tony was re-hired by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou to work as an advisor and consultant for easyGroup.
