Originally from Vancouver, comedian Tom Stade is one of the most original stand-up talents with the British comedy arena, well known for his highly successful appearances at the Edinburgh Festival, as well as appearances on a number of popular TV shows.
Tom has toured the UK every year since 2011, playing to packed houses and enjoying rave reviews. His live show Totally Rocks played to over 100 theatres across the UK in 2013. This was followed by his show Decisions, Decisions, which also toured extensively around the country, with extra dates added due to overwhelming public demand. Tom also performed to a huge live audience when he joined the star-studded line-up on Channel 4's Comedy Gala at London's 02 Arena in 2012.
Tom in also in great demand internationally, performing at notable comedy festivals worldwide, including New York, Aspen, Montreal, Toronto, Amsterdam, Kilkenny, Adelaide, Melbourne and New Zealand. He has also regularly entertained British troops overseas, in the Falklands, Afghanistan and Iraq, amongst other conflict-zones.
TV credits include Live At The Apollo, The Comedy Store, The Live Floor Show, Stand Up For The Week, The World Stands Up, Mock The Week, Michael McKintyre's Comedy Roadshow, Dave's One Night Stand, Lee Mack's All Star Cast and Frankie Boyle's Tramadol Nights. In addition, he appeared as a spoof chat-show host in Come Fringe Yourself With Tom Stade, which was recorded at the Edinburgh festival. He also starred in his own one hour special Stade And Confused for CBC/Comedy Central.
