Suzi Perry thoroughly enjoyed being the first permanent female anchor of BBC One’s Formula 1 coverage. Having broadcast MotoGP, World Superbike and Speedway over 2 decades, she is truly the Queen of the Pit Lane.
Her sporting credentials also include BBC’s live coverage of Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, the London Marathon, Trooping the Colour, The Olympics, the Great North Run and the Boat Race.
Renowned for her love of technology, Suzi presented Channel 5’s hugely popular and successful The Gadget Show for 8 years covering 17 series. During this time, she presented Gadget Show Live at the NEC, where the show was performed over a 5 day period to over 75,000 guests. Her in-depth knowledge also led her to become the technology ambassador for The Ideal Home Show, a role she still adores.
Suzi’s numerous TV credits include:
•The Ball’s In Our Court for UKTV
•Four series of City Hospital for BBC1
•Four series of Housecall for BBC1
•Watchdog Health Check for BBC1
•On The Spot lottery show for BBC1
•Co-hosting Superstars with Jonny Vaughn for BBC1
•Treasure Hunt on BBC2 in the UK and for its international version
•What’s The Big Idea for Discovery
•How to Take Stunning Photographs for Five
Being an in demand corporate host, she is often called upon to present events for companies such as HSBC, BT, DELL, Suzuki, Fiat and Honda. She recently hosted the worldwide launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.
