Robbie Fowler is one of Britain's most experienced and respected football player-managers. A natural striker with an instinctive goal-scoring ability, Robbie has also proved himself to be an equally successful football manager and businessman on his own turf (or turfs!).
During a 20 year career, Robbie capped for England 26 times and scored seven goals for his country. He scored 183 goals in total for his home team Liverpool, 128 of which were scored in the Premier League (162 Premier League goals in total). He is the sixth-highest goal scorer in the history of the Premier League, retaining the record for scoring the Premier League's fastest ever hat-trick - in four minutes and 33 seconds (in the 1995 League Cup Final).
Robbie’s first steps on the ladder of football success began in 1991, when aged 16 he was signed to Liverpool as a YTS trainee, having previously been selected for Liverpool Schoolboys at the tender age of 10. Just one year later, on his 17th birthday, Robbie turned professional.
During his 20-year career as a professional footballer, Robbie played for numerous world-class clubs in addition to his beloved home team of Liverpool FC. He was transferred from Liverpool to Leeds United in 2001 and from Leeds to Manchester City in 2002, before returning to Liverpool in 2006. He then signed for Cardiff City, subsequently moving to Blackburn Rovers on a three-month contract, leaving in December 2008 to forge a career in Australia with the clubs North Queensland Fury and Perth Glory. In 2011, he joined the Thailand club Muangthong United as a player, subsequently being appointed player-manager, a position he held until his retirement in 2012.
In addition to his footballing career, Robbie has demonstrated a flair for entrepreneurship and investing. Through careful, well-placed investments in the property market, Robbie has seen his property portfolio go from strength to strength.
