Peter is a former goalkeeping legend who holds the record for playing more games for England than any other player.
His international career earned him 125 caps, making him England's most capped player of all time. In Peter's amazing 30-year career, he played for eleven English league clubs, appeared in three World Cups, two European Cup finals and made over 1,000 appearances in competitive matches. He won the league title and two successive European Cups with Nottingham Forest and was awarded the MBE and OBE for his services to football.
Peter retired from football in 1990 and is now a prolific after dinner speaker and he entertains his audiences with his endless source of amusing anecdotes from his days in football.
