Nadia Sawalha is one of television’s busiest presenters having never been off our screens for the last ten years…
Nadia first came to fame as Annie Palmer in Eastenders in the late 90’s then switched to TV presenting as one of the original line-up of ITV’s award-winning Loose Women. She then racked up credits including City Hospital, Eating In The Sun, Passport To The Sun and Wanted Down Under to name just a few.
The popular mum of two won Celebrity MasterChef, and quickly became one of the country’s most in demand foodie. She is author of the best-selling cookbook “Stuffed Vine Leaves Saved My Life”, Greedy Girl’s Diet and Greedy Girl’s Diet: Second Helpings! and currently has weekly food columns in the Daily Mirror and Best magazine.
Nadia has been involved in The Real Woman’s Little Black Dress Diet, which was on ITV1’s Lorraine as well as a stint presenting the main show on Friday’s, and now a regular cookery slot. She hosted ITV’s weekend cookery show ‘Saturday Cookbook’, and fronted the new ITV show ‘Sunday Scoop’ alongside Kaye Adams.
Nadia re joined the panel of Loose Women in 2015 - a busy year for her, as she has appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and joined the cast of ITV’s Benidorm for series 7 in the role of Melanie.
