Martin Glenn is a marketing expert who has built up a considerable reputation for making well-loved British brands more dynamic, competitive and international in their reach.

Martin came to prominence in the early 1990s when he worked for Walkers Snack Foods, during which time he enlisted Gary Lineker to play a key promotional role in Walkers' marketing campaigns. Having increased the company's market share from the mid-20s to more than 60%, Martin became Walkers' President in 1998 and ran the business until 2006, when he left to join Birdseye, which had been acquired from Unilever for £1.2 billion.

In March 2015, Martin was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Football Association (FA). An FA qualified grassroots coach, Glenn is also a former Leicester City FC non-executive Director, having sat on the Club’s Board between 2002-2006.

In 2003, Martin was awarded Marketing Week’s CEO of the Year, and in 2004 he was voted the UK’s most influential marketer by Marketing Magazine.

Martin is one of the country’s leading speakers on marketing and branding and his presentations are both humorous and thought provoking. To book him for your Business Event, contact Prime Performers, either through the online booking enquiry form or by calling us on 020 3500 3331
