Already established as a model, actress and television presenter, Kelly Brook is now making a name for herself in the business world with a number of successful ventures, including Steam and Rye, a new restaurant in the heart of the City of London, and a fashion collection through retailer New Look.
Kelly was born and brought up in Rochester, Kent, and studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London before becoming a professional model. She subsequently worked on a range of advertising campaigns, including Foster's Lager, Renault Mégane, Walker's crisps, Piz Buin and Bravissimo, a company that specialises in bras and lingerie for large-breasted women. Kelly's assets as a model led to her becoming a regular fixture in the monthly magazine market, appearing on the covers of GQ, Cosmopolitan and Esquire, to name a few.
TV work followed on from her successful modelling career. She was a guest judge on ITV’s flagship show Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and in 2013 replaced Fearne Cotton in the ninth series of ITV2's award-winning Celebrity Juice (while Fearne was on maternity leave). Kelly starred alongside dance partner Brendan Cole in BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing, subsequently taking part in the 2010 Strictly Arena Tour. This in turn led to her producing a dance-inspired fitness video. Her passion for Health and Fitness has attracted a number of corporate brand endorsements, most notably Reebok, who have featured her in their campaigns since 2008.
In tandem with her TV work, Kelly has also worked as an actress in theatre and films. Theatre work includes roles in Eye Contact, Fat Pig and Calendar Girls. She has appeared in the films School of Seduction, House of 9 (alongside Dennis Hopper), Three, Absolon, and Keith Lemon: The Film. In the summer of 2013, she took the role of Kate in the feature film Taking Stock.
Kelly has recently written a style book entitled Pinning Down The Pin Up Within You.
