Kate Walsh is an television presenter, known for her work on such shows as Live From Studio Five and the Big Brother spin-off show, Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
Kate first came to the public's attention in 2009 when she became a candidate in the fifth series of The Apprentice, competing for a high flying career working for Alan Sugar. She finished as runner-up to Yasmina Siadatan.
As a result of her appearance on The Apprentice, Kate was headhunted by several TV producers. Her first presenting role was as host of a women's fashion feature on GMTV, and then, in September 2009, she joined Channel 5 to co-present Live From Studio Five, remaining with the show until it came to an end in February 2011. That same month she began co-presenting Channel 5's new entertainment show, OK! TV.
In addition, Kate has also presented Ideal World and Dangerous Drivers' School.
A relentless enthusiast, Kate somehow manages to fill what little spare time she has with cooking classes and gym workouts, not to mention snowboarding, golf, horse-riding and surfing!
