After starting out as a Guardian sports reporter, Josh switched to stand-up and very soon earned a nomination for the Edinburgh Best Newcomer Award. According to a Times critic he displays ‘a confidence and charm that could see him sell out stadiums.’
Josh has appeared on Live At The Apollo and is a regular on Mock The Week. He fronted Radio 5 live’s Fighting Talk, and shares Adam Hills’ sofa in The Last Leg – Channel 4’s comedy take originally on the Paralympics but then on the world of sport and news more generally. He also wrote and starred in his own BBC flat-share sitcom, Josh.
In addition to his stand up work, Josh has also been making his mark on both TV and radio, in such shows as The Last Leg (Channel 4), Fighting Talk (BBC Radio 5), Insert Name Here (BBC2) and his own sitcom Josh (BBC1). He has also written for Michael McIntyre, Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and BBC Radio 4′s Look Away Now.
