Jacqueline was made Chief Executive of Ann Summers in 1987, transforming it into a multi-million pound business with an annual turnover of over £100 million. The takeover of Knickerbox in 2000 added another five stores, and provided for Knickerbox concessions in every Ann Summers store.
Jacqueline's autobiography Good Vibrations was published in 1995 by Pavilion Books, with a second book A Woman's Courage published in April 2007 by Ebury. Jacqueline is also a columnist for Retail Week, New Business, Kent Business and Women Mean Business.
Amongst many fund raising events, Jacqueline has participated in a celebrity edition of The Apprentice and, along with her sister Vanessa, took part in the justgiving.com charity moonwalk in Hyde Park, London.
