Melissa Porter is a well known presenter of TV shows with property and lifestyle themes, including To Buy Or Not To Buy and Escape To The Country.

Melissa first break on TV was in 2002, as a presenter on Granada TV's Men And Motors. She then moved to the BBC, presenting a number of shows, including Put Your Money Where Your House Is and Get A New Life, before her next big break as presenter on the BBC series Countryfile: The Summer Diaries, which led to her fronting the popular programme Escape To The Country.

In addition, Melissa has presented TV series on travel, relocation and buying property for Barclaycard on GMTV. She has also presented on the TV programme Live The Dream: As Seen On Screen with Nick Barratt, as well as a number of other TV lifestyle shows, including The Renovation Game and I Own Britain's Best Home,

Away from the TV cameras, Melissa has renovated and sold several homes, including her own Wandsworth house (without using an estate agent!). Together with Charlie Smurfit, Melissa became co-founder of property design and renovation company Porter & Smurfit. In 2009, she joined Uber Interiors, a bespoke property design services & resource centre.

Melissa is a favourite on the corporate circuit and has presented several live events, including The Luxury Property Show and Grand Designs Live. She is also in great demand for corporate videos, with clients such as Co-Op Legal and Stakis Daycare Nurseries.
