Ian Royce (known as Roycey) is without question one of the most exciting unscripted improv comedians in the country. And when it comes to warming-up an audience for the main feature, he is a top act in his own right! His 25 year career as a stand-up comedian has seen him opening for major high profile television shows, including The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and Piers Morgan's Life Stories. He has worked on all of Simon Cowell's shows on both sides of the Atlantic.
Roycey is also a talented warm up act for pop artists, including One Direction (in New York, South America and London) and both Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams. Supporting pop stars and boy bands is no easy task, but Roycey takes it all in his stride and wins the screaming fans over every time, even though they might not actually be screaming their lungs out for him! He has entertained audiences across the UK's biggest arenas, including The O2, Wembley Arena, The Manchester M.E.N. Arena and The Royal Albert Hall, amongst other major venues around the country.
In addition, he is also a regular on Sky News, Daybreak and This Morning, and can often be found warming up for Loose Women (so to speak!).
Roycey is an avid fundraiser and has helped raise hundreds of thousands of Pounds for the NSPCC and other charities close to his heart.
