Henning Wehn is a German stand-up comedian who has won over British audiences - no mean feat! - becoming a familiar face on iconic British comedy shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You.
A self-styled "German Comedy Ambassador", Henning's career in comedy began after attending an open-mic comedy night and deciding that he could do a lot better than the participants! After working as a warm-up act to various comedians in London (including Stewart Lee), he set out on his own on the British comedy circuit. He regularly appears with fellow German performer Otto Kuhnle; their show - 1,000 Years Of German Humour - was nominated for the Barry Award at the 2009 Melbourne Comedy Festival.
In 2015, Henning presented An Immigrant's Guide to Britain on Channel 4, followed by the BBC World Service radio documentary Wall In The Head. Other recent TV and radio appearances include: Room 101, Would I Lie To You?, Q.I, Dave's One Night Stand, Unbelievable Truth, The Now Show, Fighting Talk, and his own six-part BBC Radio 2 series Henning Knows Best. He was also a panellist on the 2015 and 2016 series of The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice.
Having unexpectedly found his niche in the UK as a stand-up comedian and a TV personality, Henning Wehn is becoming increasingly popular on the corporate speaking circuit as an After-dinner Entertainer.
