Harry Hill

  • Harry Hillís TV Burp
  • Narrator of Youíve Been Framed!
  • Awards Host

Harry Hill is without doubt one of the finest practitioners of contemporary comedy, venerated by his peers for his highly original style and rewarded with countless awards for his off-the-wall TV shows.

Harry achieved his breakthrough in 1992 when he won the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Shortly after, a radio show starring Harry was commissioned by BBC Radio 4 entitled Harry Hill's Fruit Corner. Each week, Harry was joined by various guest performers, as well as regular character actors such as Al Murray and Burt Kwouk. This was followed with three series of the Broadcast Award-winning Channel 4 series simply called Harry Hill. The series was revived in 2003 as The All-New Harry Hill Show (this time by ITV), with regular features including the Hamilton Challenge, featuring Neil and Christine Hamilton!

Harry firmly planted himself in the primetime television schedule through TV Burp, with the series scoring a hit with audiences as well as winning the converted Rose d’Or Award at the Montreux International Television Festival. He followed this success by becoming the voice behind ITV’s home video outtakes show You’ve Been Framed, adding witty asides during the belly flops and embarrassing wedding videos! More recently, he has presented the classic TV talent show, Stars In Their Eyes, revamping the rather 'cheesy' format of the original show and turning it to his advantage, giving it a sharp - if often bizarre - comedy twist as a result.

As a guest, Harry has appeared on a number of TV and radio shows, including Chucklevison (CBBC), This Is Jinsy (a Sky Atlantic sitcom), Room 101 (BBC1), I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue (BBC Radio 4) and Just A Minute (BBC Radio 4). He has also presented an episode of the long-running ITV series, An Audience With..., in which he revived several characters from his various hit TV shows.

Harry's sell-out stand-up tours include Birdstrike, Hooves! Live and, in 2013, Sausage Time.

Harry's instantly recognisable characterisations have also led to work as a voice-over artist for numerous TV commercials, including adverts for Boots, Branston Pickle, Green Flag car breakdown service and Danio yogurt.

Harry is an ideal choice for After-dinner Entertainment, Speaking, Awards Hosting, Voice Overs and Cabaret appearances. Please contact a Prime Performers Booking Agent on 020 3500 3331 to discuss your requirements, or fill out the booking form at our website.
