Comedian Ed Bryne has enjoyed continuous popularity in both the UK and Ireland for over two decades. During this time, he has had six sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award at the 1998 festival), a successful two-week run in the West End and has regularly appeared on radio, television, the stage and the big screen, all to critical acclaim.
What's more, Ed's international career has also taken off in a big way, with capacity sell-out shows in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Belgium, Bermuda, Norway, Austria, Switzerland and Canada (where, in Montreal, he made several appearances at the prestigious Just for Laughs festival). In the USA, Ed has performed at the Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and in top comedy clubs in New York and Los Angeles, as well as making five appearances on NBC's Late Night With Conan O'Brien.
In the UK and Ireland, Ed is a regular fixture on television, appearing on popular panel shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You. He is one of the most frequent guest panellists on the BBC stand-up comedy programme Mock The Week, having appeared in over 30 episodes. Other TV work includes Three Men Go to Scotland, Volcano Live, Science Club and Dangerous Roads, which saw Ed and Andy Parsons drive across some of the world's coldest inhabited places in the name of entertainment.
With his quick wit and friendly outgoing personality, Ed Bryne is a perfect choice as an Events Host, as well as for Cabaret work. To book him, please contact a Prime Performers Booking Agent via the online booking enquiry form or alternatively call 020 7251 8222.
