Denise van Outen, is a renowned actress, singer, model, dancer and presenter, known for her role as Roxie Hart in the West End musical Chicago among others. The mother-of-one also appeared on the dance competition show Strictly Come Dancing in 2012 and has been an acting celebrity judge on Any Dream Will Do, Born to Shine and Ireland’s Got Talent
Denise has enjoyed huge success on screen and stage since her first break came in 1996 by way of Channel 4’s hit show, The Big Breakfast, where she joined as a Presenter.
As well as being a successful actress and singer, Denise has designed a fashion range of maternity clothes with Very and is a brand ambassador for the high street retailer Matalan. She has also written a book about her experiences of pregnancy called Bumpalicious, and a follow up ‘Adventures of Parenthood’ .
Denise also provided the voice over for The Only Way Is Essex, and co-starred alongside Neil Morrissey and Danny Dyer in Run For Your Wife, as well as appearing at a Talent Judge and as a Radio DJ. Denise stars as Prue Wallace in the Australian drama Neighbours, heading backwards and forward between Australia and London to film.
Denise is a passionate fundraiser, and has embarked on huge personal challenges over the years that saw her climb Kilimanjaro, cycle 187 miles across parts of India and complete a Himalayan trek in search of the Dalai Lama.
