Craig Phillips was catapulted into the limelight after winning the first British series of the reality television show Big Brother, with over 10 million tuning in to watch the final night. After leaving the Big Brother house, Craig announced he was giving his £70,000 prize fund to his friend Joanne Harris to pay for her heart and lung transplant.

Craig went on to combine his knowledge of construction and DIY with his experience and expertise within the media world to forge a new career as one of the UK's leading DIY and home improvement experts. Presenting and producing over 1000 DIY and home improvement shows for major broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, Sky One, UKTV Style and Discovery Realtime, Craig has reached millions of viewers throughout Europe, the USA and the Far East. Specific TV shows include Housecall, Discovery Real Time, Builders Sweat and Tears, Our House, UKTV Style Renovation Street, ITV Trading Up, Trading Up In The Sun, Conversion, Discovery Real Time and TFI Friday.

In addition, Craig has appeared on GMTV, This Morning, Channel Five News, The Big Breakfast, The Generation Game, The Weakest Link, Big Brother's Little Brother, The Wright Stuff, A Question Of Sport, The National Lottery and the National Television Awards.

To date, Craig has raised over £500,000 for charities and charitable causes. He is a patron of the Down's Syndrome Association and road safety charity, Brake. Craig was also one of the Lord Mayor of Liverpool's charity ambassadors chosen to assist at events throughout Liverpool's European Capital of Culture 2008. He has also participated in numerous sports events for charitable causes.

Craig is also an ambassador for leading brands like Checkatrade, Silverline Tools, Wagner, Tile Mountain and David Lloyd Clubs.
