Chris Martin is one of Britain’s top stand-up comedians and is constantly in demand. He has toured with the likes of Milton Jones, Pete Firman and Zoe Lyons, as well as fronting his own shows.
Chris began his comedy career in 2005, reaching the finals of both Chortle Student Comedian of the Year and Amused Moose Laugh Off competitions. He went on to appear in a series of Edinburgh Fringe shows, including AAA at The Pleasance Courtyard (the biggest venue at the Fringe). In 2011, Martin debuted his solo show Chris Martin. No. Not That One, which sold out its entire run and received a string of highly positive reviews.
Chris' TV and Radio work include Hawksbee & Jacobs on BBC Radio 5 Live, The Most Annoying People of 2010 (BBC 3), World Cup’s Most Shocking Moments (BBC 3), Greatest Christmas Adverts and Greatest Christmas Moments (both Channel 5) and Two Pints of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps (BBC3). He was also part of BBC Radio 1’s Fun and Filth Cabaret in 2012. Chris’ podcast with fellow comedian Carl Donnelly made the Guardian’s list of Top 10 podcasts to listen to in 2010.
