Clive Anderson 'Brings Alive' Telegraph Travel Awards

Clive Anderson

This November, British comedy institution Clive Anderson hosted the 2012 Telegraph Travel Awards. The media giant selected Prime Performers to secure the services of Anderson, who entertained a star-studded audience, jam-packed with the who's who of the international travel industry. The writer, presenter and actor entertained the crowd with his usual mix of quick wit and rapid banter, the typed he was famed for in the popular BBC Radio 4 show Whose Line Is It Anyway? The awards took place at the Norman-Foster designed ME Hotel on the strand in London. Among the big winners on the evening were the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, which scooped the award for Favourite Worldwide Hotel, The Savoy, which was voted Favourite UK Hotel and The Man in Seat Sixty One, which took home the gong for Favourite Travel Website. If the reaction of the Twittersphere is anything to go by, then it is fair to say he was very well received by all those who were involved and attended the awards:
