Tommy Walsh is one of the UK's most loved DIY TV presenters. A big man with a big personality, Tommy has presented many DIY programmes as well as producing books on Ground Force and DIY.

Tommy Walsh first grabbed the public attention on the hugely popular TV series Ground Force, he met the executive producer of Ground Force whilst he was engaged in building work on her house, she invited Tommy to take part in a screen test with Charlie Dimmock and since that day Tommy has gone from strength to strength appearing in many TV programmes. As well as Ground Force in the UK he and Charlie also went onto star in the USA version with huge success.

Tommy has presented several DIY shows for Discovery: DIY Survival, Challenge Tommy and Ultimate Workshop. Other credits include presenting BBC's Death by Gardening, and Shopping City, and on Discovery Real Time he has presented Tommy Walsh's Eco House, Tommy's Fix your House for Free and Fix it Yourself.

Tommy’s first book 'DIY Survival' was in the UK's bestsellers list and he has since published a further four DIY project books all with Harper Collins.

Tommy's distinctive voice has been used on various campaigns which include Direct Line Insurance, and he is always a huge hit when making a personal appearance. Tommy is also available for Q & A sessions.
