Shauna Lowry

Born and raised in Ireland, TV presenter Shauna Lowry is a favourite among animal lovers, having hosted both Animal Hospital and Shauna's Amazing Animals, her presenting work has not been limited to working purely on shows with an animal’s though. In the early 1990s, she presented the RTÉ TV show Jo Maxi and also the UTV/RTÉ travel series Bon Voyage, before hosting the National Lottery and covering Northern Ireland's celebrations on the Eve of the Millennium. Shauna has also appeared as a guest on numerous TV shows, including Celebrity Wrestling, under the fun name Tigress! Shauna also has considerable experience presenting on live TV shows, such as the Lord Mayor's Show, Children In Need and Crufts. Shauna can currently be seen co-presenting BBC1's flagship show Countryfile. 

Through her dedication to animal rescue and conservation work both in front and behind the TV cameras, Shauna became President of the Ulster Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) and a trustee of the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. She is also the face of Animal Planet in the UK.
