Sara Pascoe is a writer, stand-up comedian and actress. She has appeared in a number of television programmes - Campus, Live At The Apollo, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Stand Up for the Week, The Thick of It, Mock The Week and W1A among others - as well as an all-female sketch show and her own Edinburgh show, and runs comedy club The House Of Mirth.,

She began performing stand-up in 2007. In August 2010, she performed her first show at the Edinburgh Festival, Sara Pascoe Vs Her Ego. The show received positive reviews.

In her routines, Sara takes a wry, almost deadpan look at the more inexplicable aspects of life, love and people. She questions why people wear T-shirts bearing the likenesses of more attractive people, and whether debt can be solved by installing card payment machines that are more like disapproving parents (”you’ve already got a coat. Make sure those shoes are black, so you can wear them for school as well.”)

Her first book, Animal: The Autobiography of a Female Body, was published in April 2016 by Faber and Faber. In 2016 she went on tour again with the show Animal. She participated in series 3 of the comedy challenge show, Taskmaster, which aired on Dave in October and November 2016.

Sara is an extremely popular Comedian and Comedy Writer, brilliant for Awards Hosting, Gala Dinners, Speaking Engagements and Comedy Nights. Please contact a Prime Performers Booking Agent on 020 3500 3331 to discuss your requirements.
