Jules Hudson

Jules Hudson

Jules' enthusiastic, hands-on approach has seen him cover a wide range of subjects and genres as a TV presenter. He is best known as the leading face on BBC TV's hit property series, Escape to the Country, while his passion for the countryside has led to his appearance as a presenter on the BBC's flagship rural affairs show Countryfile.

But there is more! His interest in historic buildings and design underpins the BBC's renovation series, Britain's Empty Homes, whilst his lifelong passion for military history came to the fore in BBC1's hit show Dig 1940!

In 2015, Jules became President of CPRW, a Welsh national charity that aims to secure the protection and enhancement of the country's landscapes and environment. He has entered enthusiastically into the work of the charity and in November 2015 re-launched the Best Kept Village competition for Montgomeryshire. It is hoped that this will evolve into a competition covering all of Wales
