Josh Widdicombe is an ‘ace observationalist’ (The Guardian) and a household name. Having entered the stand-up circuit in 2008, Josh’s rapid rise has seen him star in twenty-six series of the multi award-winning Channel 4 series The Last Leg, as well as co-hosting Dave’s Broadcast Award-nominated Hypothetical, in 2023 he appears in Sky Max series Hold the Front Page with co-star Nish Kumar. Josh has also had multiple appearances on hit shows such as QI, Live at the Apollo, A League of Their Own, Have I Got News for You and Taskmaster to name but a few, as well as the pleasure of performing onstage at the Royal Albert Hall for The Royal Variety Performance.

Josh co-hosts the hugely popular podcast Parenting Hell with fellow comedian Rob Beckett | Comedian | which they will be taking on the road in 2023 to arenas up and down the country. The success of the podcast led to the release of the Parenting Hell book which topped the Sunday Times Bestseller Charts at no. 1. Josh is also host of cult 90s podcast Quickly Kevin: Will He Score? which has gone on to sell out multiple live shows.

2021 saw the release of Josh’s first book – a childhood memoir, about growing up watching far too much TV in the 1990s – Watching Neighbours Twice a Day… How ’90s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life, which received critical acclaim and Sunday Times Bestseller status.

He also wrote and starred in his own BBC flat-share sitcom, Josh.

He has also written for Michael McIntyre, Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and BBC Radio 4′s Look Away Now.
