Born in New Zealand, Erin started dancing at 3. She moved to Australia at 18 to pursue her dancing ambitions and by 1996 Erin had moved to the UK. Her dance partnership with Anton Du Beke started in 1997. They went on to win many international competitions, including titles in the UK, New Zealand and Canada.

Brilliant and glamorous, Erin competed in 10 series of Strictly Come Dancing, hanging up her Strictly boots after the 2012 series to start her family. Her TV partners were Martin Offiah, Julian Clary with with whom she came 3rd, Colin Jackson achieving 2nd place, Peter Schmeichel, Willie Thorne, Austin Healey, Eastender Ricky Groves, goal keeper Peter Shilton, impressionist Rory Bremner and lastly tv critic Richard Arnold. Erin partnered Colin a second time to win the 2009 Christmas Special.

Of course, Erin did not hang up her dancing shoes when she left Strictly. After giving birth to her son Ewan in Spring 2014, Erin was back dancing in the fold by June of that year, partnering Anton at regular favourite venues such as Warner Hotels and Wroxall Abbey. And of course by the end of that year she was back in rehearsal for her 2015 national tour with Anton.

In January 2017, she embarks on what will be her 9th national tour ‘Anton and Erin – Swing Time, the first in the Anton and Erin series was ‘Anton Cheek to Cheek’ which also played the Sadlers Wells Dance Season at the London Coliseum, followed by ‘Let’s Do It’, ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’, ‘Steppin’ Out’, ‘Anton and Erin go to Hollywood, ‘ That’s entertainment’ and last year’s ‘Gotta Dance’. Erin is also responsible for the look of all the tours, selecting and styling all the costumes for the whole cast. Whilst unable to perform herself in 2014, she still took charge of the costumes for Anton’s solo tour.

Erin’s favourite place to perform is The Royal Albert Hall which is the home to many a dance competition in which she has competed. ‘Anton and Erin’s Christmas Cracker’ is now a regular feature of the venue’s Christmas programme with the latest shows being in December 2016.

As well as more appearances with Anton in corporate cabarets than you could care to mention, Erin has also collaborated with other Strictly dancers on various events and private parties throughout the UK. She is an accomplished public speaker and much loved by the audiences with her tales of Strictly and of course Anton added to which she takes some of her spectacular dresses along for the audiences to see up close. As well as performing, Erin is also well known as a teacher, running successful classes in Kingston and from time to time returns to the competitive dance world as a judge.

Apart from Strictly Erin has made many other television appearances, including the BBC’s Proms in the Park, Celebrity Pointless, Len Goodman’s Dancing Feet, The British Ballroom Story; Celebrity Mastermind: Ask Rhod Gilbert; the Piers Morgan Show; Celebrity Star Spell; Test the Nation; the National TV Awards; the Royal Variety Performance; Save the Children; the Alan Titchmarsh Show, The Truth about You; Richard and Judy; Hole in the Wall; It Takes 2, Good Morning Britain and Strictly Dance Fever.
